Passport & Visa
All foreigners coming to Pakistan need a valid passport. Tourists from the following countries do not need visa to enter Pakistan for the period specified as under.
v Iceland, Maldives, Singapore, South Korea, Zambia and Mauritius, for 3months.

Functions at Airport
v To administer Health management at airport.
v To check and restore sanitation of the area within and around the Airport.
v To provide First Aid round the clock (medical emergency coverage and in any disaster situation).
v To provide curative treatment to Federal Govt. Employees functioning at Airport.
v To check every international flight for yellow fever vaccination and other communicable diseases.
v To provide yellow fever and meningitis vaccination to passengers and all Hajj passengers during Hajj season.
v To provide all preventive measures for cleanliness of food & water etc. also checking of VVIPS food & medical coverage to Excellencies.
Health counters are available in international arrival before immigration counters which are regularly managed during international flights.
CAA DMO is also available round the clock to meet any kind of medical emergency.
Currency
The basic unit of currency is the Rupee, which divides into 100 paisa.
v Currency notes of 05, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500, 1000 and 5000 rupees are in use.
v Coins of 01, 02 & 05 rupees are in circulation.
